                     To: robinrogers@mailg.com
                Subject: Snow day

                Dear Robin,
How are you? I’m not at school today. There’s no
                school because it’s snowing.
I love the snow because I like making snowpals.
Here’s a picture of me and my snowpal. I’m wearing
my new hat and scarf. Do you like them?
I like sledding in the snow, too. It’s fun, but it’s very
cold. I don’t like ice skating. I can’t skate very well.
                Do you have snow, too?
                Write soon. Love, Rose

                    Writing Emails
When we write emails, we often use Dear …, to say hello, and we also ask
                  the question How are you?
We sometimes use Write soon at the end, or Love, … to family and friends.

2 Read the email again and answer.
1 Does Rose like the snow? Why? / Why not?
                2 What’s in the picture?

3 What does she like doing in the snow?
4 What doesn’t she like doing?

3 Read the email again and answer.
1 How does Rose say hello?
2 What questions does she ask Robin?

3 What does Rose say at the end of her message?

4 Plan and write an email in your Workbook. Be sure to include a greeting
               and an ending.
